On Saturday, January 14th, Shaun Williams partnered with Michelle Dawes Birt of Real Chicks Rock!™to host The 1st Annual 'Teen Empowerment Expo'.
We celebrated our teen girls' with a 1-day; hands-on, 4-hour Empowerment workshop geared specifically towards helping them define their S.E.L.F. identity. Our goal was and is to reach teen girls in the community to help them develop a healthy self-esteem and self-image, but also to provide some tools to overcoming issues that affect today's young women such as: - Peer pressure - Purpose in life - Discovering uniqueness - Making positive choices - Body confidence - Being comfortable, confident in themselves in a society that doesn't always adopt the concept. This event included 4 phenomenal speakers (see flyer above) who offered wisdom and insight about their business. The event was a complete success. See more on our Facebook page. |
We followed up the expo on Sunday, January 15th with Real Chicks Rock!™ RCR! Presents Real Discussions Talk Radio Show.
